If you are interested in American history, you will be entertained at Backcast. In addition to a substantial library relating to the subject, we have a significant collection of original documents relating to American history and, primarily, American presidential history. The collection began as a quest to collect a check signed by each American president. How hard could that be? Very hard. It morphed into collecting documents relating to money signed by each American president which, while easier, is still quite a challenge. As a offshoot of that idea sprang an interest in Theodore Roosevelt - who possessed a great love for the American West. We hope that you enjoy these representative images and they whet your appetite to learn more about the true history of the greatest country the world has ever known.
